According to Webda Hamadan, Feriduddin Nasriyev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Iran, emphasized the necessity of using joint scientific, research and technical capacities in Hamedan and Bukhara provinces in a specialized meeting of the Chancellors of Hamedan and Buali Sina Universities of Medical Sciences with the official delegation of Bukhara-Uzbekistan and stated: good information in this meeting was exchanged, which can be used in order to introduce common capacities in the two provinces and increase relations and strengthen interactions.

Introducing some of the regional and national capacities of Uzbekistan, he said: After independence in 1991, the country of Uzbekistan has experienced many leaps in the field of population, industry, etc., in order to align these capacities and all-round development, interaction  We have considered the countries of the region.

Dr. Majzoubi, Chancellor of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, in the specialized meeting of the presidents of Hamedan and Bu Ali Universities of Medical Sciences with the official delegation of Bukhara (Uzbekistan), referring to the readiness of this university in order to strengthen interactions and cooperation in specialized scientific, therapeutic and research fields, stated: Hamedan University of Medical Sciences  It has 525 faculty members, 14 thousand personnel and 7 thousand students.

He added: 11 faculties and international vice-chancellors, 60 laboratories and 20 research centers in this complex.

The Chancellor of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences continued: One of the goals of this university is internationalization, and in this regard, in the field of education, he has started cooperation with other countries, including Iraq.  We have accepted students from more than 10 countries and we are ready to enter the subject of professor exchange.

He pointed out: In the field of technology, we have achieved the production of 82 products, such as kidney stone breakers and special foods for some diseases, including these products. Also, one of the other capacities of this university is that 8 centers and hospitals have facilities for accepting foreign patients and health tourists.  It exists in the province and we are ready to accept patients and provide services in all health fields.

At the end of this meeting, the statue of Hakim Ibn Sina and handicrafts of the province were presented to the ambassador of Uzbekistan by the Chancellor of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences
